| OdESSA have won the 2006 ‘Live And Local’ competition for a New Zealand band to play at Big Day Out and record at the famous York Street Studios! A big ‘thank you’ to EVERYONE who took the time to vote – it was a very close competition and every vote mattered. Thanks also to Amplifier.co.nz, Jack Daniel’s and York Street Studios for their generous support of local music. |

FRIDAY - 4 Nov - LEIGH SAWMILL OdESSA will be playing at Leigh Sawmill Cafe on Friday 4 November with Ghostplane (www.ghostplane.com). It will be a great night and at only $10 on the door is a steal for two of Welly's finest bands. SATURDAY - 5 Nov - RISING SUN This Saturday OdESSA will join the Shrine, and will mix it up with some of the finest of Auckland's funk selections - don't be a fool - be at Rising Sun this Saturday 5 November!
